COURSE DESCRIPTION

    The course is designed to cover the following subjects:  Surfaces and interfaces; thermodynamics of phase transformations, nucleation, growth of precipitates, diffusion in solids, spinodal decomposition, phase transformations, effects of temperature and driving force on diffusion and microstructure.
